In 1991, due to escalating crime in the suburb, a group of concerned residents formed the Randridge Residents’ Association (RRA). The idea behind this was that if we as residents all pull together we can achieve a safer environment in which to live and raise our families.
Today, the boomed neighbourhood of Randpark Ridge is highly sought after and has one of the lowest crime levels in the entire Honeydew precinct thanks to the vision of the RRA.
RRA Management
The Randridge Residents’ Association is run by a board of directors and each street has a street leader who facilitates communication between the residents and directors. All directors and street leaders are volunteers.
The administration manager is our link to the current security provider, Johannesburg City Council, SARS, JRA, our ward councilor, JMPD, and other local authorities. She attends to the day-to-day matters of the RRA in the mornings between 8 and 12 am via email and telephone.
A database of all residents is kept, and we respectfully request that we be notified of all changes to phone numbers and/or email addresses so we can keep you informed of what is happening in the suburb. Details can be changed on our website or forms can be requested via the administrator.
Any crime incidents must please be reported to either the Director of Security or our Admin Manager immediately for us to inform the rest of the suburb.
